Dale Hildebrand

Dale is a creative powerhouse, director, writer, cinematographer and winner/nominee of over 40 international awards, ranging from best picture, best director, best cinematographer, three Gemini nominations and a Gemini win. His current feature Road to the Lemon Grove (filmed in Sicily), won at the Taormina Film Festival, several awards at the Italian Contemporary Film Fest, best comedy at the Edmonton International and just received a nomination from the Canadian Screen Awards for visual effects (over 250 VFX shots). Dale has also produced and directed the action sequences on 4 action feature films for Universal Pictures. He has filmed in a vast range of environments, from the war zones of Afghanistan (Hyena Road), to the plains of Africa (The Woman Who Loves Giraffes), to sacred Indigenous communities around the world, and his documentary “T O in 2 4” won or was nominated for 28 international awards.
